The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, MPVs but not minivans) for August 2023.
Retail
August retail sales volumes of passenger cars totaled 1.92 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) increase of 2.5%.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)
In August, wholesale volumes of New Energy passenger cars totaled 798,000 units, up 25.6% y/y.
